Privacy Policy

Effective date: 31 July 2026. This policy is written in plain English so that it is easy to follow.

Who we are

This site is operated by CDB Advisory Services, Inc., an independent advisory practice based in Atlanta, Georgia. The company is incorporated in Florida, with its registered office at 1400 Village Square Blvd, Ste 3-201, Tallahassee, FL 32312. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” mean CDB Advisory Services.

What this policy covers

It covers the information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It does not cover information exchanged under a signed engagement agreement, which is governed by that agreement.

Information you give us

If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you choose to send: typically your name, email address, company and your message. We ask only for what we need in order to reply. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the website form.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web server keeps standard technical logs. These can include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, the time of the request and the page that referred you. We use these logs to keep the site running, to diagnose problems and to protect against abuse.

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data. A small number of cookies may be set for security and for site administration when someone signs in to manage the site. If we later add website analytics, we will update this policy to say what is used and why.

How we use your information

We use it to respond to your enquiry, to discuss whether an engagement is a good fit, to keep a record of our correspondence, to maintain the security and performance of the site, and to meet our legal and professional obligations.

How we share your information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the practice, such as our website host, our email provider and our form and security software, and each is expected to handle it only on our behalf. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as we need them to answer you and to hold a reasonable business record, and then we delete them. Technical logs are kept for a short period on a rolling basis.

Your choices and your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, for example under the California privacy statutes or the UK and EU data protection rules, and we will honor those rights where they apply to us.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the site and the information it handles, including encryption in transit and restricted administrative access. No website can promise perfect security, so please use your judgment about what you send us online.

Other sites

Where we link to another organization, that site has its own privacy practices and we are not responsible for them.

Children

This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date shown above.
